Hosting & website access

This website is hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4–6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany.

To deliver this website, the hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data. Depending on the server configuration, access logs can include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page or file, the response status, the referring page, and information about your browser and operating system.

The purpose is to provide the website reliably and to investigate errors or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website. Technical records are retained only for as long as needed for those purposes, unless an incident requires their preservation.

Hosting providers acting on our instructions must be covered by a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR. Further information about Mittwald is available in its privacy notice.

03

Contact & project enquiries

If you contact us by email, telephone or the project enquiry form, we process your contact details and the information you provide to respond to you, assess your project and prepare any requested services.

The form requires your name, email address and message. You may also provide your organisation, project location, enquiry topic, approximate area or route length, preferred timing and telephone number. Optional project details are voluntary. The required fields allow us to understand your request and respond; without them, the form cannot submit an enquiry. You can alternatively contact us by email or telephone.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract with you or steps you request before entering into one. For other enquiries, including communications with company representatives, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in handling business communications.

The form sends your enquiry to our server for forwarding by email to info@mgt-geo.com. The form application does not maintain a separate database of submitted enquiries. Correspondence may be retained in our email system and business records. Employees responsible for your request and the hosting and mail providers involved in transmission can receive the data as necessary for their tasks.

To protect the form from automated misuse, the application checks a hidden form field and temporarily processes the connection IP address, request timing and number of requests. This is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in preventing spam and protecting the availability of our service.

04

Retention & recipients

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed to handle your request or the resulting business relationship. We then delete it unless a legal retention duty or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims requires further storage. Data retained solely to comply with a legal duty is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Retention for legal claims is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We share data only where necessary for the stated purposes, where legally required, or where you have consented. This may include authorised staff, hosting and mail providers acting as processors, professional advisers and public authorities where a legal duty applies.

Simply visiting the website does not load partner websites, social media or publication platforms. Following an external link establishes a connection to that provider, which processes data under its own privacy notice.

05

Cookies, fonts & external content

This website does not use analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels or embedded YouTube players. Fonts, partner logos and other images are served locally. Loading them does not require a connection to a font service or partner website.

The website application does not set cookies or use local storage to track visitors. Normal browser caching may retain locally served assets. No consent banner is included for tracking technologies because none are used by the application.

Under Section 25 of the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), storing information on your device or accessing information already stored there generally requires informed consent. The statutory exceptions in Section 25(2) TDDDG apply to transmission and services expressly requested by the user where the access or storage is strictly necessary. Any processing of personal data also requires a legal basis under the GDPR.

06

Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future under Article 7(3), without affecting earlier lawful processing.

No automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, including profiling within Article 22 GDPR, are made by this website.

07

Complaints to a supervisory authority

Under Article 77 GDPR, you may complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. For our location in Celle, the competent authority is:

Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hannover, Germany
Submit a complaint to the LfD Niedersachsen
